How feedback works
When a client rejects a candidate, they add a reason for the rejection. You will receive an email notification about this, as long as you have the relevant notification turned on in your settings.
Accessing feedback
Go to your Candidates overview.
Click the candidate's name to open their profile.
Click the History tab.
Click the Feedback button to view the reason for rejection.
Following up with a customer
If you need more information about the rejection reason, use the agency chat to reach out to the client directly.
Managing notification settings
To make sure you receive email notifications about candidate feedback:
Click your initials or profile picture in the bottom-left of the platform.
Click Notification settings.
Select or deselect your preferred notification types.
Note on candidates deleted from the client's ATS
In some cases, a client may delete a candidate from their ATS entirely — for example, to comply with GDPR data retention rules, at the candidate's own request, or as part of routine data cleanup. When this happens, you'll still receive a rejection email, since the system currently sends the same notification for both a genuine rejection and a deletion.
To see which one actually happened, click View feedback on the candidate's profile. If the candidate was deleted rather than rejected, the feedback reason will show "Candidate deleted from ATS" instead of an actual rejection reason. This is not a rejection — it simply means the record no longer exists on the client's side.
We're aware this can be confusing, and this notification behavior is expected to be updated in the future so that deletions and rejections are communicated separately.
