This article explains how to customise which email or platform notifications you receive on HirePort, so you only get alerts that are relevant to you.

How to access your notification settings
Click your initials/profile picture in the bottom-left corner of the HirePort platform.
Select Notifications from the menu.
Available notification types
On the Notifications page, you will see a list of individual notification types. Each one can be turned on or off using its checkbox.
By default, all notifications are enabled. The available notifications are:
Dates proposed — when interview dates are suggested
Date confirmed — when an interview date is confirmed
Feedback required — when feedback is requested from you
Feedback received — when feedback has been submitted
New message — when a new message is received
Candidate introduced — when a candidate is submitted to a vacancy
Candidate rejected — when a candidate is rejected
Offer is accepted — when a job offer is accepted
New offer is requested — when a new offer is requested
New offer — when a new offer is made
Offer is rejected — when an offer is rejected
HirePort preference relevance interval has expired — when a saved preference has expired
New activity on Job — when there is new activity on a job
Fee Approved — when a placement fee is approved
To disable all notifications at once, tick the Switch off all notifications checkbox at the top of the list.

Enabling Job-Specific Notifications
To receive updates about a job, turn on notifications for that listing:
Locate the bell icon (🔕) on the job.
Click it to enable notifications: the icon will change to 🔔.
Turn on email notifications to receive updates directly in your inbox.
What You'll Be Notified About (Job-specific)
Once notifications are enabled, you'll receive updates whenever any of the following change:
Job requirements
Salary
Location
Job status
Tip: Keep notifications enabled so you never miss an important update to a job you're tracking.
